Membership

Eligibility for membership in the association shall include all retired and active school employees and their spouses, public and private, including colleges and universities, and all PERA recipients, i.e. Judicial, Local and State governments, Denver Public Schools, who fulfill their financial obligations and who have been approved for membership by the CSPERA Executive Committee. Membership dues for the association are $24.00 annually. Emeritus membership is awarded to those members who have reached the age of ninety and are entitled to all privileges of the association. Honorary membership is conferred upon individuals who have been approved for recognition by the CSPERA Executive Committee.

Today membership in CSPERA is more important than ever. Numbers count when we have a need to speak to members of the Colorado General Assembly. We must be ever vigilant in seeing that our retirement benefits are not in jeopardy. All units and members are strongly urged to invite new retirees into their groups and talk to those who have not renewed their memberships. We must remain strong and it is through these efforts that we will grow and become even stronger.

To join CSPERA, please mail completed application to the office.
