At the October 2007 meeting of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Retired School Employees Association, the board voted to change the name of the organization to Colorado School and Public Employees Association (CSPERA). |

Colorado School and Public Employees Association Adopts Resolution
At its October Board of Directors meeting, held Friday, October 12, 2007, the board adopted a resolution opposing divestiture of PERA funds. This resolution is in response to mandates from the Colorado General Assembly that PERA funds be used to determine foreign policy of the United States. The resolution reads: |
