Executive Committee
The officers of the association comprise the executive committee. This committee exercises administrative supervision of CSPERA and makes recommendations to the CSPERA Board of Directors regarding policy, member benefits and other issues. This committee is responsible for supervision of the CSPERA state office and office personnel.

The president of CSPERA has the responsibility of appointing committee chairs of the various state committees. These committee chairs serve as leaders of their committees helping to ensure that association members are aware of and educated about issues that affect their quality of life.

NAME CHANGE FOR CRSEA
At the October 2007 meeting of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Retired School Employees Association, the board voted to change the name of the organization to Colorado School and Public Employees Association (CSPERA).

At its October Board of Directors meeting, held Friday, October 12, 2007, the board adopted a resolution opposing divestiture of PERA funds. This resolution is in response to mandates from the Colorado General Assembly that PERA funds be used to determine foreign policy of the United States. The resolution reads:
